Frame Walls

Frame Walls

The building method with supporting frames for wooden houses permits a better building liberty and so is very suitable for the creation of residential buildings and apartment blocks.

It is the creation of a self-supporting frame composed by small Glulam pillars that is fastened through steel coach screws to the reinforced concrete foundations.

Tha walls which compose the skeleton are stopped up in the external and internal part with a wooden reinforced panel with high strength of materials and insulated with high-density wood fibre panels. The advantage of Frame walls is that the insulating material is inside the pillars and this implies a considerable reduction of the wall thickness and an increase of the surface.

Frame walls, as the X-Lam ones, permit to create external and internal finishing touches which seems like a stonework.
